CARE 4 LIVES FOUNDATION  PRIVACY POLICY

Care 4 Lives Foundation (“Care 4 Lives”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a non-profit organization based in Tema, Ghana, dedicated to transforming lives through creative education and skills development. (BusinessGhana)


We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal data of our supporters, beneficiaries, volunteers, partners, and visitors to our website care4lives.com (the “Website”).


This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you interact with us online or offline.

  • Volunteer & partnership info: role, skills, CV details, organization name, and other information you share when you collaborate with us

Where required by law (for example, when collecting data about minors or special categories of personal data), we will seek explicit consent from you or your parent/guardian.

11. DATA RETENTION – HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR DATA

We keep your personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • For the duration of your membership, volunteer role, or active engagement with Care 4 Lives
     
  • For as long as needed to manage your donation records, in line with accounting and tax requirements
     
  • For the duration of specific projects, programs, or campaigns, plus a reasonable period for reporting and evaluation
     
  • For legal limitation periods where we may need the data to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
     

After this period, we will either delete, anonymize, or securely archive your personal data, unless we are required by law to keep it longer.

13. CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE

Care 4 Lives works closely with children and young people through creative education and empowerment programs. We take extra care when handling data that relates to minors.

  • When programs are run through schools or youth groups, we usually collect information through the institution, which may have obtained the necessary consent.
